FIRST Yearbook will only send communications through your Naviance Email. If you do not check it often be sure to change the email associated with your Naviance account. We do not want you to miss out on important info!

PORTRAIT SESSIONS ARE LIMITED AND TIME SENSITIVE. TO ENSURE THAT YOUR SENIOR FORMAL IS IN THE YEARBOOK…

Senior Portrait Dates are by appointment only. Make your appointment with our new company Photography by Roman located in Shelton, CT who is under contract for yearbook photography. All the information you need regarding portrait sessions, options and cost is located on their website. Please refer to Photography by Roman website for detailed information.

Senior portraits will be taken at the high school as well as at the studio in Shelton, CT -- your choice. You will need to schedule your appointment for either location at Photography by Roman.

NHS Location Appointment Dates –

June 19 & 20
July 15, 16, 17
August 21 & 22
Studio Appointment Dates -- Any time between now and August 31, 2024 -- schedule whatever works best for your calendar

PLEASE NOTE: For the 2025 Yearbook, all portraits for the senior section will have a blue background. We will also be requiring the same dress code as we have in the past:

Option 1: A solid button down collared shirt with tie (plain jacket optional)
Option 2: A solid colored long sleeve semi formal/formal top. Black is suggested

Many times we think we will get it done later, but then life gets in the way. Last minute doesn't usually work in publications. We have a hard deadline to our publisher, and we want you to be a part of the book so please be cognizant of time and scheduling.

SENIOR QUOTE: DUE OCT 1st....NO EXCEPTIONS

Your senior quote is a way to express yourself that will become a part of your legacy.

You can submit your senior quote via the Google form that will be emailed to your school email address the first week of school
Please note that quotes will NOT be accepted via email.
READ THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES PLEASE

Quotes that do not align with the guidelines or do not have links to credible and acceptable sources will not be printed in the yearbook.

The guidelines set by administration regarding quotes are listed on the google form. You will be asked to submit TWO quotes. The first one will be put in the book as long as it adheres to the guidelines and an appropriate URL is provided along with it. The second quote will be used as a backup. If neither of your quotes aligns with the guidelines or do not have acceptable URLS, NO QUOTE WILL BE PUBLISHED. You will NOT BE NOTIFIED or asked to resubmit, as it is your responsibility to read the guidelines and to adhere to them.

SENIOR SURVEYS: DUE OCT 1ST...NO EXCEPTIONS

All senior surveys will be done via google forms. They will be sent to your email address and posted in google classroom.

BABY PICTURE: DUE OCT 1ST....NO EXCEPTIONS

Please send your baby picture now to Yearbook Gmail account
Please send as an attachment (not copied and pasted into the email)
Please be sure it is an image file (.JPG, not .pdf)
Please save the file as:

LAST NAME, FIRST NAME BABY
Example: Violette Kristin baby

This will ensure that the correct baby picture is placed next to your senior portrait. It is almost impossible to organize baby pictures with generic file names such as image001 or baby pic. Please remember there are over 350 seniors sending in baby pictures.

Send your baby picture as an attached file--not copied or embedded into the email--to the yearbook Gmail account

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE A PICTURE OF A PICTURE, AS THE QUALITY IS TYPICALLY TOO LOW. If you need to scan your photo, please have the student visit the NHS Library. Paper photos will not be accepted by the Yearbook Staff.

SENIOR SIBLINGS & REMEMBER WHEN PHOTOS, ETC.

If you want to submit pics for consideration for these pages, send them as attachments ASAP to the yearbook email (listed above). Please be sure to list all of the people in the photo so we can tag them.

These senior pages are due to the publisher at the beginning of December so we need them to determine how to design the pages.
